NotesWell a tough loss for the Rockets..
Team came out firing on all cylinders with an awesome opening shift, that ended with Owen putting one past the Ingersoll netminder. Excellent shift by Willy, Aidan, Owen, Ethan and Dom... all kinds of pressure and the result was the 1st goal of the game!
From then on all 3 lines were forcing the puck deep into the Ingersoll end and getting lots of shots on net, with the goalie turing everything away.
Late in the second period with the score tied 1-1, Tristen managed to break away with Brady putting up the block at the blue line, and Austin following up for the rebound, Tristen took the shot and managed to put it past the Ingersoll netminder.
Ingersoll managed to tie it up and make it 2-2. Strong defensive play managed to keep the game very tight in what looked like would for sure be a tie game. Late in the 3rd period off a crazy bounce and deflection infront of the net Ingersoll managed to get the puck on their stick and put one past Zack for the winner.
Tough loss - but was a Excellent Effort by all, very exciting game to watch.. Great Job Kids!
