Lil Rusty Devils come up short in Hockey Moms Tournament

If you were able to make it up to the arena this past weekend, you were treated with some great hockey. Our novice LL rockets participated in the 1st annual hockey moms tyke/novice LL tournament.
After openning the tourney with a 3-3 tie against Simcoe Edge, the team fell to Elmvale 1 by a score of 4-1. Needing a victory to secure a spot in semis, the team came out Sunday morning with a convincing 3-0 victory over the Ingersoll Anderson novice squad. Unfortunately the tournament would end in the semis as they were defeated by a good determined Ingersoll Butterworth team 3-0. Even though we fell short the team had lots of fun & created some hockey memories. Congratulations to the championship teams the Delhi Tykes & the Ingersoll Buttersworth Novices and a big thanks to the Delhi Hockey Moms for a fabulous weekend of hockey!!
