Over the holidays Delhi Rockets Atom LL Team 3 had a successful day in Aylmer in a one day tournament. We played a total of three games, winning each game with a shutout, including the championship game. When the buckets came off there were wide grins and red faces on each and every player. The team worked hard all day and it paid off. On the way home I asked Owen if he was tired and he said “Yeah!! But it was worth it!” with a big smile on his face.

Everyone played outstanding, there wasn’t one player that didn’t deserve a Player of the Game award. These three players got theirs by playing an above average game for their individual skills. Skate hard, pass the puck, don’t give up and HAVE FUN. Keep working hard and the next one is yours!
A shout out to Zack Wilson for his solid goaltending! Our team worked hard at keeping the puck out of our end, Zack didn't see a lot of action at times, but he made some great saves and kept our net empty for the duration of the tournament!!
