Session 2 - on Pause
DMHA Rockets Players, Parents, Coaches and Staff...
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to keeping our community safe. As you know, Delhi Minor Hockey falls under the Haldimand/Norfolk Public Health.
DMHA must follow the guidelines and protocols determined by our Public Health unit as well as the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and Norfolk County. We are all working together in an effort to keep all of our players, coaches, refs, staff and parents safe and healthy.
The COVID-19 response framework developed by the Government of Ontario includes targeted, preventative public health measures and restrictions that can be introduced and removed as needed for each region, based on data and other indicators.
Monday December 21, 2020 The Ontario Government announced that the Province will go into Lock down December 26, 2020 for 28 days.
The County of Norfolk announced today in a news statement that they will Close Facilities until January 25, 2021.
The Delhi Executive will revisit this decision in early 2021. This pause will allow the DMH Executive to work to ensure that any return to play possibilities in January will be implemented in a safe manner that reflects the most up to date measures and with guidance from Haldimand/Norfolk Public Health Unit and the OHF.
Our hope is to resume all hockey activities as soon as safely possible.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding through these challenging times!!
Please watch for updates on our Rockets Website and on our Social media in January 2021.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Safe Happy Holidays!!
