It has come to my attention that many of our hockey parents do not realize the role of the Hockey Moms organization. We are a VERY small group of moms that are working together to keep hockey fun for the players and more affordable for the parents.

Some of the ways in which Hockey Moms support players:
 purchase game pucks
 purchase first aid kits and supplies for the trainers
 Organize team and individual photographs from a professional photographer
 Organize an annual tournament (has been running for 34 years)
 Sponsor a Tyke Team annually
 Organize pin table and fundraising sales for tournaments
 Organize hockey sock sales
 Organize “Rocket” clothing sales (warm-up suits, hats, sweatshirts, coats etc.)
 Donate money to all Local League and Rep teams that win their divisional championships/playdowns for their team year end party

All of this is provided to players as a result of volunteers and fund raising. We are a non-profit group that provides a service to our players. Delhi takes pride in having the cheapest registration fees in Norfolk County. This could dramatically change if Hockey Moms had to fold due to lack of participants in this committee.

Many of our Hockey Moms no longer have kids playing minor hockey in Delhi, or are about to finish their minor hockey career.
