Sr Tyke Hockey Moms, Initiation Program (U5-U8), 2013-2014 (Delhi Rockets - Home on the Web)

The Sr tykes participated in the annual Langton Tyke, Novice and Atom Tournament this past weekend and came home with a silver medal. After opening the tourney with a 7-2 loss to Simcoe, the team rebounded with a 6-4 & 10-0 wins over Alymer and Langton to earn a spot in the gold medal game. Unfortunately Simcoe captured the gold with an 8-2 win over the boys in the finals. A great amount of effort, sportsmanship and fun were shown throughout the tournament by the boys! Keep up the good work and be proud!!!!

​The Delhi Sr tykes travelled to Simcoe on Saturday and came home with there first win. It was a close back and forth game with Delhi scoring two late goals to pull ahead 6-4 for the win. Both teams played with an excellent amount of effort and excitement! Keep up the good work boys!
