NotesFun... Fun... Fun... game kids - as we juggled the line up around to try a few things, the kids responded great!
Excellent support for the players in their new positions, and the ones that were put in new positions did very well!
Game started off with Zack stopping a number of shots as Norwich pushed to open the scoring, but Zack would not let anything by him. Late in the 1st the line up of Landon, Briar and Ethan worked hard and after the puck bouncing around and off a rebound from a shot by Briar - Landon put it in the open net.
Tristen scored the 2nd goal with a break away from his new defensive position and put a nice wrist shot over the goalies shoulder.
Into the 3rd period with the Lil Devils line of Owen, Willy, Aidan not being able to buy a goal all game, and Brady, Austin and Graycie having lots of chances - still coming up empty - trying hard, good positional play, lots of shots, the Rockets coming off a penalty kill - Tristen managed to pressure in off the blue line and put in his 2nd of the game - with Ethan, Briar and Landon all at the doorstep waiting for any potential rebounds.
Another very strong Defensive game for Jason, Brenden and Dom keeping the Knighthawks in check - and late in the 3rd to break the shut-out they managed to put one past Zack high over his shoulder.
