Novice Rep Dave's Variety, U11 (Atom), 2014-2015 (Delhi Rockets - Home on the Web)

Congratulations Rockets! Our Novice Rep team almost pulled out a win against a very strong Twin Centres team. The TC Stars went up 3-0 only to find our Rockets battle back to tie the game. A late 3rd period goal edged the TC Stars to 4-3 and they held off a late game charge.  The Coaches said they couldn't have been more proud of how their team stayed strong right to the end!

The Hockey Moms have arranged to order navy long sleeved t-shirts that say "Property of Delhi Rockets" on the front.  The orders must be submitted as a team.  The cost per shirt is $20, but the Hockey Moms will allow a price reduction to $18 per shirt if the team orders 10 or more!  Currently I have 4 shirts requested for our team.  Please let me know if you’d like to order.  Last call for these shirts will be Sunday at practice.

Congratulations to our youngest rep players on a spectacular tournament in Simcoe this weekend.  They marched through regular round play undefeated and played strong quarter and semi final games vs. worthy opponents to face a powerful team from Mitchell who were also undefeated in the tournament in the final.  Strong team play and determination were the key to battling back from trailing 1-0 to a 2-1 overtime win!  Congratulations to all players on a job well done and to Landon Terrebroodt for being named the MVP goalie of the tournament!
