Update on what you can look forward to at our upcoming Delhi Hockey Moms U9LL Tournament!!
37th Annual Delhi Hockey Moms U9LL Tournament
January 14 & 15, 2023
The Delhi Hockey Moms are once again excited to host our annual U9LL tournament.
We could not do this tournament without the support of our local association, U9LL parent volunteers as well as our local businesses who always are so generous in their donations.
As per past years we will once again be holding a Raffle Table in the upstairs of the arena. Tickets can be purchased (penny table style draw) to win a variety of items for young and “seasoned” alike. This will run on Saturday throughout the day and the draw will take place Saturday afternoon/early evening to ensure winners; especially those from out of town are able to obtain their prizes before the leave.
50/50 as well as the Hockey Moms Pin Table will be available to try your luck or purchase yourself or your player a noise maker or other Hockey related item.
We are in talks with a photographer as well and hope to have this available for you as well should you choose.
Our Hockey moms will also be running the Canteen this year and will have light snacks and items for purchase.
In addition to the above you can also look forward to the following:
PLAYER OF THE GAME AWARDS-
Each team will be provided with two player of the game awards per game for their respective teams. Coaches are asked to pick two players from their own teach.
LUNCH-
Hockey moms will be providing a ticket for a hot dog, bag of chips and drink (water or juice box) for each player and coach as per the approved roster.
You are welcome to use your ticket on either Saturday or Sunday.
Please hand in your lunch tickets at the Hockey Moms Canteen to obtain your free lunch.
MUSIC/ANNOUNCEMENTS/ANTHEM-
The Hockey moms are working hard to ensure we have ample staff to offer us music for all games this year.
Regardless will be making sure that all goals are announced over the PA system so that your player(s) can hear their name and parents can cheer 😊.
For the consolation and final games, we will also be playing the National Anthem and ask that teams line up on their respective blue lines.
TOURNAMENT BROCHURE-
We ask that you forward your team list completed with full names and jersey number to help us get our team book- book with all the teams’ rosters as well as schedule which will be available for free to parents and players upon entry should they choose.
ADDITIONAL TREATS-
We are once again working with our amazing community and family sponsors to provide a treat to each player after each game. Past years items such as ice cream, chips, granola bars, apples, treat bags have been provided.
