Delhi Minor Hockey was represented well in Cayuga this past Saturday at the Jeff Shurr Memorial Tournament in Cayuga by the PEEWEE LL #1 Beselaere Fuels team. They played a tough game against Dunnville and won 4-1. They then faced a very tough opponent in Embro in the "A" semi finals. Embro had not lost all year. After 3 periods the game was tied 0-0. Then after 5 min of sudden death overtime the game was still tied. After going through the second overtime which was an elimination of players it was down to one on one with 20 seconds to go when Embro scored to win the game. The coaching staff couldn't have been more proud of the kids finishing their tournament with their heads held high. GREAT JOB DELHI ROCKETS PEEWEE #1 Beselaere Fuels
