This past weekend, our novice rep rockets participated in the Aylmer Rep Fall Challenge tournament. After opening the tournament with an 8-4 win over Shallow Lake, our rockets were defeated 5-0 by South Kent placing us in the B Division semifinals against Mount Forest. In a closely decided game our rockets edged past the Rams in overtime by a score of 3-2. In the B finals our club faced a rematch against Shallow Lake. Trailing late in the third period 2-1 our players kept up their efforts and persistence resulting in our team scoring 3 quick goals on our way to a 4-3 victory. The coaching staff is super proud of our team, the way they played as a team and never gave up especially in the last two games!!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Our Novice Rep club participated in Jack Tolhurst Memorial Tournament in St. George this past weekend and came home with a 2nd place finish. After opening the tourney with a 7-1 win over West Lincoln, the team lost to Aylmer in there 2nd game 7-1. Needing a victory in game 3 to give themselves a chance to make the semi finals, the boys put in an excellent effort earning a 7-0 victory over Ripley.
